Once we have established the brief the initial designs can be drawn up and your garden will begin to take shape. All of our garden designs are personally overseen by Kate and are completely bespoke to you.

The Design Process

After your initial enquiry we will arrange to have a chat with you to discuss the project and get a better understanding of your needs. After this we can arrange for an on-site consultation with Kate.

At the initial consultation Kate will meet you on-site where she can get a thorough feel for the space and discuss what you want from your garden in more depth.

Based on this consultation we will then put together a fee proposal and a mood board that will consist of a selection of images that reflect the initial concept ideas for your new garden.

Once you have approved the fee and the deposit has been paid a second site visit will be made so reference photographs and measurements can be taken. We will then have everything we need to produce the initial garden designs which will encompass both 2D images and a 3D model.

These initial concepts will be presented to you in person, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and provide us with your feedback. We will then refine the designs to reflect your feedback and send the final designs to you for approval.

Your technical plans can now be produced which will include layouts, planting plans and lighting plans. This will form the basis of a tender so that either us or your chosen builders can provide accurate costings for labour and materials. The build phase of your garden can now begin.
Build.
When the implementation of your garden begins you will be in the capable hands of our on-site team headed up by Keith and Colin. Both highly experienced landscapers, they have helped Kate implement her ambitious designs and go on to win gold at RHS Chelsea Flower Show and The Singapore Garden Festival. An established working relationship between the design and build teams allows each project to run as smoothly as possible. Working so closely with Kate means that our build team fully grasp her vision for every garden and can execute that vision to meticulously high standards. Once your plans have been finalised taking your garden from paper to reality is a simple process.

The process kicks off by sourcing and selecting the final materials from those that have been suggested for your scheme. We will show you a range of samples and images as well as making nursery visits to consider specimen plants.

When the final decisions have been made on plants and materials we will put together a clear and concise tender to reflect these decisions and discuss these costings in detail with you.

As soon as the costings have been approved we will be able to schedule the works and create a bespoke project timeline for your scheme.
