We were asked to create a garden design with a view to the colour scheme and planting reflecting the warm tones of the interior of the home design. With two small boys an artificial lawn was installed for all year round play and the garden planted with evergreen structure in mind for all year garden use, but it is first and foremost a garden for colour with Geum, Hemerocallis, Digitalis, Clematis, Roses, Tradescantia to name but a few of the stunning planting specimens.
Orange and pink contrast purple and yellow – it a garden of full on colour but still maintains a pretty, natural feel. The garden along with play space for children has more adult areas; a barbecue and large outdoor work surface for when clients entertain and a feature wall with bioethanol fire set in front of a large L-shaped sofa.
Rusted finish Urbis Mortar75 planters are filled with Sedum and Succulents for a low maintenance approach to container gardening.
