Highgate One

This garden was designed to reflect the grand nature of the property with gravel avenues set against structured planting.  A formal lawn is flanked by pyramid Taxus surrounded by Buxus cubes.  Two giant ilex crenata bonsai sit in large Urbis planters against a curved paddlestone wall.  Contrasting these formal shapes the remainder of the planting in the garden is soft and natural with low Buxus balls and rocks creating breaks in the scheme which add both a sense of space as well as impact at low level.  The garden is designed for all year round interest with topiary taking centre stage in the winter.
